This morning, before leaving for work, I had the chance to make my version of baked rice. Do not follow the recipes in Samsek gugel. In fact, it is more experimental because the contents match what is in the refrigerator and cupboard

Anyway, for those who want to try (who knows there is that), here is the recipe:
Baked Rice with Chicken, Broccoli and Cheese
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 cup of cooked rice (I use brown rice)
A few pieces of chicken fillet, cut into small pieces (can be replaced with sausages, minced chicken, fish, shrimp or not at all)
Some broccoli buds (can be replaced by other vegetables or not at all), boil briefly then slice thin / chopped
Cheese sauce (recipe I’ve posted here. Or if you want simple, use grated cheddar cheese + just a little milk).
Salt, sugar, pepper.
Mozzarella cheese or quick melt cheese for toppings (the more delicious you get … full fat 😀)
How to make:
– Saute garlic until fragrant. Add chicken, stir until cooked.
– Add rice and broccoli. Stir it up.
– Add cheese, salt, sugar and pepper sauce, Stir until blended. Turn off the heat.
– Place the rice mixture in a heat resistant container / aluminum foil. Give pieces / grated mozzarella cheese on top. Bake / steam for 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
This recipe is suitable for 1 person portion. For me the results are really amazing. But maybe it depends on each stomach.
